Mira believes in making time for oneself and it was only fitting to host a Mom Makeover contest in partnership with SunStar Weekend last Mother’s Day as a way of giving back to selfless mothers. Linda Damayo, a former teacher and mother of three won the pampering session she deserved. The 75-year-old used to indulge herself in all things beauty – from nail polish and hair dye to shoes – in her younger years.

But motherhood meant she had to let go of her own desires and provide for her children’s needs and wants instead. Damayo’s love for her kids is truly unselfish that this fondness extended to her grandchildren and even her religious community.

A selfless soul like Mommy Linda surely deserved a day of pampering that’s reminiscent of her good ‘ol days and Mira Beauty by Design gave her a full makeover tailor-made just for her.

1 All-in Color

Mommy Linda’s crowning glory was restored to its full potential with a hair color that suited her best—natural brown. Mira’s expertly trained stylists took good care of Mommy Linda’s hair and showed an outstanding result.

2 Classic Manicure

Mommy Linda was always so fond of coloring her nails back in the day. She finally experienced it again thanks to Mira. From a specialist’s suggestion, her nails were done in the color nude that matched her wardrobe.

3 Foot Spa with Classic Pedicure

Mommy Linda’s pampering session ended with a foot spa, which she described as an entirely new experience compared to way back. She also had a classic pedicure with her toes painted in the same nude color.
