BEAUTY enthusiasts celebrated all things beautiful during a night of fun and exciting counter games, activities and workshops at the Level 1 of Rustan’s, Ayala Center Cebu last October 18. Rustan’s The Beauty Source hosted their third installment of arguably the biggest beauty event of the year, Beauty Addict, with the theme “Beyond Time.” Guests and Beauty Addict Members got to enjoy fun counter games and even took home prizes from participating beauty brands. Here’s a list of our favorite luxury brands and their counter games that stood out that night:
Where is Gabrielle?
The game prepared by Chanel was pretty much just easy. All beauty addicts had to do was literally find Gabrielle, one of the many good perfumes from Chanel. Beauty addicts were to pick from a bowl full of cards and guess which card was sprayed by the scent Gabrielle. That’s sniffing their way to get a Chanel sample size product.
Read My Lips
Before anything else, beauty addicts were given a card where they can familiarize all the lipstick shades of Nars. After getting familiar with each shade and its names, videos were presented with models wearing different shades from Nar’s lipstick collection. Beauty addicts were to choose a video and guess what the shade the model is whispering by reading her lips. If you guessed the shade right you got a travel sized mascara, concealer, lipstick, or blush on.
Lip Blot Readings
Mission: Pick a shade, swipe it on, and kiss a card, then show the card to MAC’s lip readers and get to know who you are through your lips. After completing the reading, beauty addicts were given a card that offered free makeup service.
Aside from receiving a full size OPI nail polish, beauty addicts availed themselves of a nail transformation service. All participants needed to do was to sit down, relax, and wait for the evolution their nails were going to get.
Mission: Guess how many products are stuffed in the jar and get to win a regular size Nuxe product. Beauty addicts also bagged travel size products if they picked three cards that said eyes, nose, and lips that would match the Nuxe products written on the cards placed on the table.
Miracle Glow Duo Highlighter Swatching
Who doesn’t love taking selfies? In Max Factor’s booth you got to bag a regular size eyeshadow stick if you swatched their highlighters, took a selfie, and uploaded it on Instagram.
Mission: Match the cards and get a mask. Each card placed on the table showed photos of Murad products. All that beauty addicts had to do was match it with a card that describes exactly what the product is for.
Claw Your Way In, Glam Your Way Out
Everyone enjoys the thrill that claw machines in arcades give us. Pretty sure the thrill was doubled at Laura Mercier’s booth when beauty addicts found out that the claw machine was nowhere near those of the ones in arcades. The claw machine was stuffed with different travel size Laura Mercier products such as the product they are so known for, the translucent powder, tinted moisturizer, and many more.
Heal the Skin
Mission: Help the girl on the screen clear her skin and bag a travel size Mario Badescu product. The game was played from the tab by swiping different Mario Badescu products to clear out blemishes and wrinkles from the girl’s face.
Mission: Spin the wheel and win instant prizes. Where ever the arrow landed, no matter which color, beauty addicts got to bag travel size Clinique products such as their lipsticks. Surely no beauty addict left the booth empty handed.
