NO matter how full one could be, dessert is always welcome. And at Casa Verde’s newest café dining concept the sweetest feast is up and running 24/7.
Room for Dessert by Casa Verde is a casual dessert café that opened last Nov. 27 at the SM Seaside City. It has a laid-back ambiance where friends could chill and catch up while enjoying their signature desserts and drinks.
On the menu is their luscious premium soft-served ice cream that comess with fairy floss — also known as the childhood favorite, cotton candy — topped with various candies and chocolates. Their bestselling Ting’s Heavenly Chocolate is topped with Kitkat and M&M’s and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Juliana’s Cookie Madness is fit for the Cookie Monsters inside of us, as it is topped with Chips Ahoy, Oreo and crushed cookie bits. For kids, they have the Twirl All You Can where for an affordable price, kids could have twirl soft-served ice cream into cups or cones.
The premium soft-served ice cream is also used as base for their blended drinks, such as fruit or non-caffeinated smoothies and coffee blended drinks.
Aside from the premium soft-served ice cream, Room for Dessert also has a variety of cakes to choose from, such as cookie dough and lemon curd cheesecakes and red velvet and mocha cakes.
For sandwich aficionados, Room for Dessert also has some light sandwiches to choose from. Available in six and 12 inches, they have skirt steak, turkey, beef pastrami and so on. You can even have the option fixing up your own sandwich.
To pair off all these delicious treats, Room for Dessert has superb, locally sourced coffee. A mix of Arabica and Liberica, which gives out that fruity and earthy balanced flavor, they source out their beans from the Cordilleras through an Australian-trained craft roaster.
“Our coffee beans that we purchase are expensive. And the reason is that our supplier does fair trade. The beans cost a little higher than what people would normally pay for. They make sure that they give back to their coffee growers, so they’re making the whole business of coffee sustainable,” said Patricia Noel of the Casa Verde Group.
Room for Dessert is a happy place not only for sweet-toothed people but for everyone who’s up for a good time with friends and family enjoying great food and ambiance. “What makes us different is that we have what you need to have a good time. The place is beautiful, the prices are fair and the food is delicious,” Patricia said. What more could you ask for?
