Rustan’s Supermarket opens third outlet in Cebu
WITHIN only a month’s interval since the opening of the Rustan’s Supermarket in Ayala Center Cebu, Rustan’s Supercenters Inc. successfully opened another outlet—the third in Cebu—in Mandaue City last Nov. 15.

The event was attended by no less than the president of RSCI Donnie Tantoco, who opened the store alongside Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes, Annie Aboitiz, Alfred Go, Edmun Liu, Tamsin Booth, Kenneth Cobonpue, Miss Mandaue 2014 Dominique Picson, and Provincial Board Member Miguel Magpale.
The event kicked-off with a “bread-breaking” ceremony—the supermarket chain’s novel way of opening a new store in lieu of a traditional ribbon-cutting. It was followed by Tantoco’s welcome speech, in which he stated how the Rustan’s brand will continue to stand firm in providing world-class products and service to Filipino consumers.
The third Rustan’s Supermarket is located inside Oakridge Pavilion on A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City. (Angelica Fernandez and Joan Navaja, USJ-R Mass Comm Interns)
