PDP Laban Cusi faction misuporta ni Sara
Ang faction sa Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) nga gipangulohan ni Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi miingon niadtong Biyernes, Enero 21, 2022, ilang gisagop ang presidential daughter nga si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio isip bet sa pagka bise-presidente alang sa eleksyon sa Mayo.
Ang partido niingon nga sila nagtuo nga ang Duterte-Carpio mosiguro sa pagpadayon sa programa ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte, lakip na ang pakigbatok sa kriminalidad, korapsyon, terorismo, ilegal nga drugas ug uban pa nga kinahanglang ipadayon.
“The decision to adopt Mayor Sara has been made by the PDP-Laban National Executive Committee based on her credentials, advocacies and vision for our nation,” matod sa partido sa usa ka pamahayag.
“Based on these, the PDP-Laban has decided that the quality of her advocacies and vision are strongly aligned with that of the party. The PDP-Laban believes that the quality of her leadership and her track record in the performance of her duties in her current office make her most qualified for the position she is now aspiring for and therefore deserves the party’s support,” kini nidugang.
Ang partido niingon nga kini sa pagkakaron nag-finalize sa mga termino sa ilang alliance agreement uban sa Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), diin si Duterte-Carpio co-chairs.
Apan si Cusi niingon nga wala pa silay gipili nga kandidato sa pagkapresidente nga suportahan sa umaabot nga eleksyon.
“Sa ngayon (for now), we have not made any decision about it. We are in the process of evaluating who among the candidates would best continue the programs this administration has started,” matod niya sa usa ka press conference, ug nidugang nga dunay posibilidad nga di sila mosuporta og kandidati sa pagka presidente.
Ang paksyon ni Cusi way kandidato sa nasudnong piniliay human si Senador Christopher “Bong” Go, kinsa sa sayo pa ni-file sa iyang certificate of candidacy pagka bise presidente ubos sa partido, niatras.
Si Senador Ronald dela Rosa nisang-at usab og COC sa pagka-presidente ubos sa paksyon, apan ni-withdraw sab siya.
Ang laing paksyon sa PDP-Laban nga gipangulohan ni Senador Aquilino Pimentel III mibutang kang Senador Manny Pacquiao isip presidential bet.
Nanawagan si Cusi sa mga miyembro niini nga huptan ang ilang baruganan, lig-on nga mobarug sa mga prinsipyo ug mithi sa partido ug mosubay sa linya sa partido.
