Over P81K ‘shabu’ seized

ABOUT P81, 500 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 5 at Purok 4, Barangay Alangilan, Bacolod City on Christmas Day, December 25.
Station 5 commander Captain John Christopher Masangkay said the operation also led to the arrest of Joebel Suricho, 27, of the barangay.
Suricho was arrested after reportedly selling a sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer at about 1:30 p.m.
Seven sachets of the contraband weighing 12 grams and the P300 marked money were seized from Suricho upon his arrest.
Suricho, who is identified as a street level individual, was under surveillance for almost a month before his arrest.
The suspect is being detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 5 and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
