By Elisha Judy Tabaque

“I would love to go to the most desired travel destination of Pinoys here in our country – Batanes. There’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing that your soul has experienced this dreamlike northern beauty. Plus, you get the feeling of being at the top of the Philippines (literally!). Local before international.”

“I have many dream destinations this holiday, and to be honest I wish to travel all around the world. The idea though seems impossible since I’m still a student. However, the one that always comes to my mind first when we talk about ‘destinations’ are beaches. I wish to try a ‘Christmas on the beach’ thing this holiday, particularly in the island of El Nido, Palawan.

El Nido is the place where I can forget about everything and take the time to relax while being in a refreshing island. I want to enjoy the genuine beauty of the God-blessed nature- white sand, rich underwater realm, and clear waters. To bathe in the cold Christmas breeze of the sea and to gaze at the starry night sky with me lying on the beach are just two things that I really want to try. Can you just close your eyes for a minute and imagine- soft chilly breeze touching your face bringing different interesting smells, walking alongside the beach and waiting for the sunset to fix it in your mind for a lifetime. It is amazing. I have never been to Palawan but I strongly believe that I can assure myself that someday, with God’s grace, my dreams will come true – and I can dream big about it!”

“My holiday dream destination is Mexico because of its bright culture and attractive melody of music. Fingers crossed for this dream to come true.”

“I have a lot of choices actually but if I were to choose one, I’d probably pick Kakslauttanen Igloo West Village in Finland. I would love to see the magical aurora borealis while I’m inside a glass igloo.”

“My holiday dream destination would definitely be to go back home in Butuan City where there is a fast internet connection, eat all you can buffet in the fridge, and unlimited time with my family.”

“I have been in Cebu since I was born. Now, if I would be given the chance to travel for this holiday to my dream destination, I would choose Japan. As a One Piece fan, I would like to see Oda, the creator of this manga series. I also would like to roam around to such beautiful place and know more about Japan’s rich culture.”
