THE recently concluded Singapore Tourism Board campaign launch in SM Megamall gave me goose bumps all over and left me in a rush to book my next trip to the city-state.
I was just in awe of how their new tourism campaign stirred up so many nice feelings inside of me that I fell in love with their beautifully diverse city all over again.
Their new campaign, Passion Made Possible, focuses on the countless experiences Singapore has to offer and how those experiences make a positive impact in the traveler’s general experience. According to STB’s Chief Executive Lionel Yeo, “This brand articulates what we stand for as a country and supports the telling of many story about this destination and its people. It will allow us to build a deeper and more personal connection between Singapore and our fans and friends, even when they are not actively thinking about travel. This brand is in line with Quality Tourism as it will appeal to the more sophisticated tourists who are seeking more aspirational value propositions in their travel.”
At the launch, celebrity chef Nicco Santos, founder and culinary director of Hey Handsome and Any Any located in Metro Manila shared how Singapore and his many interesting experiences there have greatly influenced him and his approach in cooking and marketing.
This new angle and approach in reaching their target market is something so fresh and so apt for a diverse country such as Singapore, where three equally rich cultures converge in a melting pot that brings out the old, the new, and the best of each one, creating an environment with such an inspiring vibe that speaks to literally everyone.
Our hosts from the Singapore Tourism board took us to Makan Sutra in Megamall. It was such a nice surprise to know they opened there. The delicious food brought back so many good memories of Singapore and of course, inspired within me the urge to book my next trip. And this time, I’m excited to see what Singapore will inspire within me.
