Casa Dos: old-world charm the second time around
HAVING established a good reputation for fine food and wine, Circa 1900 opens its second old-world charm home for casual dining Circa 1900 Casa Dos, with swimming pool facilities and function space.
Casa Dos features Cicada, a tapas bar and al fresco casual dining. This second house located just within the compound of Circa 1900 offers casual comfort food for lunch and in between meals, tapas and drinks before dinner or for after dinner drinks.
Displayed on the walls of Cicada are old pictures of well-known people who have come to visit the place way before it was transformed into what it is today. Photos of Miss International 1964 Gemma Cruz, General Douglas MacArthur, Former President Fidel Ramos and many more have added to the heritage ambiance of Cicada, making its guests feel the timelessness of the place.
Adjacent to Cicada is the Noshery, a Gelato station and air-conditioned pastry work shop, and at the same time serves as a venue where artists, musicians and craftsmen showcase their skills and products with the guests.
Aside from well preserved architecture, Casa Dos offers its mid-size function spaces for more intimate celebrations, making it a one-of-a-kind restaurant.
It has its Galleria Jereza that could hold 60 people and the Belvedere, an open-air function venue suitable for children’s party, pool side party and as a venue for yoga, zumba, pilates or tai chi.
The swimming pool offers an option to dip and dine, making it truly a lifestyle destination for dining and leisure in Cebu.
