A Taste of Okada wows Cebu’s modern epicureans
OKADA Manila, the newest and largest integrated resort located in the Philippines’ booming Entertainment City, shared a preview of its vast culinary offerings through a series of dining experiences aptly called “Taste of Okada.”
“Taste of Okada” was officially launched with an introduction of Japanese Kappou Imamura restaurant during an exclusive two-night preview dinner in Cebu City last January 10 and 11. Dubbed as The Queen City in the South, Cebu is known for its thriving local epicurean and social scene, making it the perfect venue and audience for Okada Manila’s first gastronomic showcase.
Flying in for the occasion were the integrated resort’s Board of Director Steve Wolstenholme and Michelin-starred Chef Hirofumi Imamura, whom the upscale contemporary Japanese restaurant is named after. Chef Imamura realizes his vision of bringing to guests’ tables refined Japanese delicacies prepared with passion, skill and precision.
“The gentleman is an artist and what you’ll experience here tonight is his art – and his art is exceptional. Every property has a star and our star is Chef Imamura,” Mr. Wolstenholme added. Chef Imamura’s culinary brilliance was a contributing factor to kaiseki restaurant Kazuo Okada in Kowloon, Hong Kong earning the coveted Michelin star. (PR)
