Louis Vuitton travels to Cebu
LOUIS Vuitton Philippines had its first regional event last month, as it staged an exclusive shopping party in a pop-up store stationed inside the Ocean Pavilion of Shangri-la’s Mactan Resort & Spa.
The opening night was a full house, as Cebu’s well-heeled crowd gathered and reveled amid the array of LV’s signature items, overflowing hors d’oeuvres and champagne, tunes played by DJ Emel Rowe — not to mention, the breathtaking view of the venue. Guests were also treated to a complimentary photo printing booth, Insta Printa, flown in from Singapore especially for the occasion.
On display at the pop-up store from August 5 to 7 were LV’s line of prized monogrammed luggage, and its various collections of city bags, men’s footwear, watches and accessories, among others.
Since it was founded in 1854, the brand has been at the forefront of designing ingénue luggage that has towed along the stylish and chic of jetsetters. Though its product line has since expanded, all products remain in high-regard for quality, durability and aesthetics.
