TWO straight days of unparalleled gorgeousness and style — that was how Ayala Center Cebu culminated its Style Origin series last Aug. 2 and 3.
The first day presented the best of men’s fashion from Filipino brands and designers, and the following day exhibited high-street style from well-loved retail brands.
In the Mensweek Fashion Show, 37 designers were featured, including Cebu’s very own designers Edwin Ao, Philip Rodriguez, Cary Santiago, Philipp Tampus and Yvonne Quisumbing.
Jaw-dropping bodies rocked the ramp, as highlights of the evening included the appearance of basketball superstar Jeric Teng in a Noel Crisostomo creation, Sam Milby in a Do Se piece, and Kris Lawrence who serenaded the crowd after modeling an Anthony Ramirez original.
The Highstreet Fashion show was held the following day, where the well-heeled crowd of Cebu and their tiny tots worked the spotlight.
Models were Mariana Chiongbian, Jenny Ann Pimentel, Kryz Uy, Edel Hao, Mikhail Jo, Loveth Dejarme, Casey Kate Alajid, Danica del Mar, Amanda Climaco, Miguel Climaco, Gio Sanchez, Xadrien Chang, Chloe Entera, Gavin Uy, Veia Lampert, Allison Huettel, Tino Martinez, Xari Chang, Jack Booth, Kym Maitland-Smith, Antonio Carcel, Miren Jarque, Izarra Ugarte, Divine Maitland-Smith and Marian Quitevis.
