Cagayan de Oro logs 4 new Covid-19 cases over the weekend

THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro continued to drop, with only four additional cases reported over the weekend.

The city now has a total of 20,442 Covid-19 cases.

The City Health Office said of the four local cases, one was an authorized person outside residence (Apor) with link and three are local index cases.

The active cases in Cagayan de Oro went down to 57, of which nine were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and 48 were outpatients.

Cagayan de Oro also registered an increase in the number of new coronavirus-positive persons who were tagged as “recovered.”

Over the weekend, the city recorded five recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,534.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 851.
