Only 2 new Covid-19 cases in Oro over the weekend

THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro continued to drop, with only two additional cases reported over the weekend.
The city now has a total of 20,436 Covid-19 cases.
The City Health Office said the two local index cases involve a 13-year-old male resident from Barangay Mambuaya and a 57-year-old male from Barangay Patag.
The active cases in Cagayan de Oro went down to 74, of which 11 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and 63 were outpatients.
Cagayan de Oro also registered an increase in the number of new coronavirus-positive persons who were tagged as “recovered.”
Over the weekend, the city recorded four recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,511.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 851.
