Desserts are hard to resist but what makes these sugary surprises even harder to say no to is when they’re presented in the prettiest and most creative way. Everyone has a sweet tooth and it’s never wrong to indulge in these divine desserts every once in awhile. The upbeat sweets scene in Cebu has seen quite a handful of unconventional afters that satisfy our need and want for a sugar rush or some mean Instagram content. We round up too-pretty-to-eat desserts and where to find them for the content creators and of course our sweet-toothed readers.
Afternoon Tea Set
A bento is usually filled with savory dishes but Fujinoya Philippines goes for the sweeter side with its very own dessert bento. The Afternoon Tea Set is served with three delectable cakes, fresh fruits, fresh cream, and meringue. The noodles of the Ramen Dessert are made of water and agar (gelatinous substance obtained from red seaweed). Its neutral taste is complemented with sweeteners like mango, watermelon, mochi balls, milk and nata de coco.
