As the weather gets hotter in this tropical country, so do cocktail drink garnishes. Flaming drinks contain flammable, high-proof alcohol, which is ignited before consumption. Whether the fire is used to add a smoky flavor or pure dramatic flair to the drink, the way the flickering flame dances on the drink sets the mood of any party despite the hot weather.

Flaming Lamborghini

This popular flaming cocktail is a layered shot composed of coffee liqueur, Irish cream, blue Curacao, and dark rum for flaming. It is served lit in a martini glass with a straw. Using of straw is a must for flaming drinks for safety purposes. A shot of blue Curacao sweetens and adds a bluish tint to the drink. The blue curacao and Irish cream also put out the flame. Once the flame is out, one can finish the drink as a shooter without the straw.

B-52

This classic lightweight triple-layered concoction is made of coffee liqueur, Grand Marnier, and Irish cream separated into three visible layers that’s served in a shot glass or sherry glass. It’s a perfect blend of cream, whiskey flavor and coffee that also tastes a little like caramel in which no single flavor stands out much above the others. B-52 is best drank using a straw and should be finished quickly to avoid overheating the glass and burning the straw.
