Oslob-Heritage-Park-stands-a-statue-of-Fr.-Julian-Bermejo

At the Oslob Heritage Park stands a statue of Fr. Julian Bermejo, a few meters from the town’s parish church Immaculate Conception, whose site the priest personally chose. The legendary Fr. Bermejo was also known as “El Parroco Capitan” for setting up a series of coastal fortifications in southern Cebu against pirates and invaders.
