A JAPAN retail giant sets foot in Cebu. The rest is history.

A few weeks back, Cebu witnessed the opening of Uniqlo and I, amongst many, couldn’t have been more excited. Uniqlo is probably my favorite clothing brand. Half my closet will prove so. People will wonder why. So, here are my personal reasons.

1. (Timeless) Design

What you buy in Uniqlo today you can probably wear over a decade from now and you won’t look like you’ve rummaged through your grandmother’s closet. One good example is their Men’s Dry Shirt Collar Short Sleeve that come in many different colors that may suit many of your changing moods (wink).

2. Comfort

I bought many different colors of that particular style because they are so comfortable, I made it a staple in my wardrobe to the point of making it one of my signature looks. Many of their other garments are equally as comfy, perfect for daily wear.

3. Durability

Those vibrant colors I bought from two years back remain as vibrant today as the day I first wore them. I have Uniqlo shirts that are over two years old. I wear them until today.

4. Affordability

Uniqlo makes shopping a real treat because their prices are easy on the pocket to the extent that I use their dry fit polo shirts as my uniform for work.

Uniqlo prides itself in making what they call Life Wear. These are clothing that people use in their daily lives from active, formal, daily, casual, formal, and sleep; for winter, spring, summer, and fall; for men and women; for children and adults. They promise to make it nice, durable, and affordable. It’s that simple.

Here are some pictures of me wearing Uniqlo that I’ve selected from my phone’s camera roll.
