Style Origin: bringing fashion trends and forecasts
AYALA Malls, the country’s premier lifestyle and shopping destination, concluded its annual Style Origin with a back-to-back fashion show — Mensweek and Highstreet Fashion Show — last July 11 and 12 at The Gallery of Ayala Center Cebu. Inspired designs from homegrown talents, celebrated designers and premium brands were highlighted during the fashion event.
Mensweek was hosted by Blinky De Leon, the Mensweek Fashion Show featured the creations of Herbert Custodio, Randolf, Gian Romano and Jail Jeans together with Cebu’s Edwin Ao, Protacio, Yvonne Quisumbing, Philip Rodriguez and Cary Santiago.
Highstreet Fashion Show, on the other hand, was hosted by Jiggy Cerna, Style Origin Highstreet featured the latest high street styles with trendsetting homegrown and international labels. Over 40 brands presented the latest clothing and accessories for adults, teens and kids. Cebu’s very own personalities graced the catwalk with the collections from All Flip Flops, Artwork, Bench, Bratpack, British India, Celine, Citizens of Summer, Clarks, Converse, Cotton On, Delsey, Esprit, Etam, Flight 001, General, Gingersnaps, Grind, HE By Mango, Herschel, Human, Janylin Shoes, Just G, Karimadon, Kashieca, Keds, Lady Bag, Loalde, M+F Girbaud, Mango, Mango Kids, Nima, Nothing but H2O, Original Penguin, Osk Kosh Bgosh, Parfois, Petit Bateau, Res Toe Run, Skechers, Sledgers, Sneek Peak, Sperry Top Sider, Swatch, Topshop, Topman, Tumi, Wrangler and XOXO.
Both shows were directed by Ariel Lozada.
A brainchild of Ayala Malls, Style Origin is a series of activities that showcases music, fashion, design and lifestyle. Through these initiatives, Style Origin has cultivated each shopper’s eye for style, redefined and elevated the complete retail experience and reaffirmed that style begins at Ayala Malls.
Since it launched in 2011, Style Origin has brought exciting fashion trends and forecasts through stunning runway shows, exhibitions and in-store mall displays to show the Filipino market the latest fashion must-haves and lifestyle trends this season. (PR)
