Waterfront Hotels celebrate the Chinese New Year

ON the eve of the Chinese New Year, society personalities gathered at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino where traditional ceremonies were staged, and the evening capping off with an impressive fireworks display.

On the Chinese New Year’s Day itself, Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino joined in the celebration with a Dragon and Lion Dance staged throughout the hotel’s ground floor, and with a hearty luncheon hosted at Café Uno.

Impressive fireworks display to welcome the Chinese New Year

Patrons and media guests were treated to an international spread prepared by chef Stephen Del-Amen and treats, including the iconic cherry blossom cake, by pastry chef MJ Lutico. (Joan Navaja, Intern)
