A BRAND that has been around for 163 years must be doing something right. At Kiehl’s, it is about skincare that simply works, using the best naturally-derived ingredients. Starting as an apothecary in New York’s East Village in 1851, the cult skincare brand has finally opened its own store at the expansion area of Ayala Center Cebu. Guests braved a rainy evening to attend the opening event, which was as fun and no-frills as the brand itself.
The Gallery in Ayala was transformed into a mini New York with an Americana vibe to pay tribute to Kiehl’s roots, complete with a bagel station and a Pontiac Firebird. After being welcomed by Kiehl’s Philippines executives, invitees were led to the store, which offers free skincare consultations for all who walk in and inquire. (JVC)
