Miss Cebu Court in session

AFTER more than three months of pre-pageant activities, five ladies were hailed as ambassadress of Cebu City last Jan. 15. They personify the true beauty of a Cebuana — one that’s not just found in the looks, but in how she carries herself and intellect. These are the reigning Miss Cebu, Cheriemel Diane Muego, and her court composed of Eva Patalinjug, Hannah Gore, Grace Yap and Crystal Aberasturi. Now, it’s time to hear from Miss Cebu’s court:

On their most memorable Miss Cebu experience

“Our Bantayan Island trip. Most of us were excited for it because it wouldour first time to visit the place. We went there to deliver relief goods to Yolanda survivors, and then on the side, we also had a fun shoot, which was unplanned.” — Eva Psychee S. Patalinjug, 1st runner-up, nursing student

Hannah Marie J. Gore

“The pageant night. It was the climax of the entire experience, and of all the hardships we had undergone through as a group. There was so much support and love all throughout—from the audience to the backstage. All the candidates were very supportive of each other and we pushed each other on.” — Hannah Marie J. Gore, 2nd runner-up, nursing graduate

“The most effective way, and I think the easiest, would be through social media. It’s very influential. Even by placing it on Facebook, people can already witness the city’s beauty and how great it really is.” — Crystal Star P. Aberasturi, 4th runner-up, medical technology graduate
