Mabalacat mayor offers prayers for ailing residents

MABALACAT City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo has offered prayers for the recovery of his ailing constituents.

The mayor prayed for the sickly residents as he made his recent rounds of visit to bedridden Mabalaquenos in Barangay Dau a few days after Christmas.

Garbo even provided financial assistance for the medicines and other needs of the sickly residents in said village.

The local chief executive admonished the people to be strong and stay positive amid trials especially during this time of Covid-19 pandemic.

Garbo said he believes on the resiliency of the Mabalacat people.

“Isang taon na naman ang lilipas. Isang taon ng magkakahalong mga karanasan na humulma sa ating pagkatao at sa ating mahal na lungsod. Ngunit ano pa man ang ating pinagdaraanan, tayong mga Mabalaqueno ay nanatiling matatag at positibo ang pananaw sa buhay,” he said.

Meanwhile, some 165 senior citizens in barangays Mabiga and Mawaque received their social pension for the fourth quarter of 2021.

Vice Mayor Gerald Aquino, Councilor Noel Castro and Board Member Cherry Manalo led the payout.
