FORMER executive assistant to the governor and Arayat’s first lady, Madeth “Madir” Alejandrino, is extending a helping hand to the victims of Typhoon “Odette” in the Visayas.
During Tuesday’s (December 28) gift-giving activity to the officials of 30 barangays in Arayat, Alejandrino announced that she will be donating P1-million cash to the victims of the recent typhoon.
Alejandrino added that her donation will be sent via the Provincial Government through Governor Dennis Pineda.
Meanwhile, Alejandrino encouraged the barangay officials to also share some of their blessings to the typhoon victims.
“As much as possible, huwag na sana mga damit kasi mas kailangan ng pagkain, tubig at ibang necessities. Mas maigi kung cash, kahit umpisahan lang natin sa piso dahil kapag dumami iyan, malayi na ang maaabot,” she said.
She also expressed hope that local officials and government in Pampanga will emulate the act of sharing to needy fellow Filipinos.
