Masantol town 2020 best implementer in DILG project

THE Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, recognized the local government of Masantol, Pampanga for its outstanding implementation of one of the projects funded by the agency.
In the virtual ceremony, the local government of Masantol headed by Mayor Danilo Guintu was conferred the award of 2020 Best Implementer of Vertical Structure Project funded through the Assistance to Municipality program.
The infrastructure project, which construction started late 2020 and is now ready for use, is a three-story building located at the Municipal Hall grounds in Barangay Poblacion.
Dubbed as the Municipal Legislative Building, it is meant to house the Sangguniang Bayan session hall and offices of its members, as well as other offices for different government agencies, and a conference area.
The award was given to the local government here for its proper implementation of the funds downloaded to them which resulted to a worthwhile project that will be beneficial to the municipality and its people.
Meanwhile, Guintu expressed gratitude to DILG for recognizing the funds downloaded to them, and for recognizing their efforts in providing the best possible service to Masantoleños.
“Bonus nalang itong mga award dahil ang main agenda natin ay makapagserbisyo. At itong mga ganitong bonus ay patunay na nasa tamang direksyon tayo sa pangongobyerno sa bayan ng Masantol, at pagseserbisyo sa mga tao,” he said.
