WE’VE recently welcomed the year of the pig. While this year generally speaks of good fortune and whatnot, the carnivores (pork eaters especially) rejoice at the thought of many gastronomic innovations that could possibly happen this year. But of course, the pork dishes we’ve grown to love over the years still remain our favorite. Just last month, SunStar Weekend announced the Best of Cebu 2018 winners and Cebuanos always look forward to the food awardees. In this new year, it’s fitting that we recall the best of the best pork dishes that won the hearts of Cebuanos. Here are five of Cebu’s favorite pork dishes and where to find them.
