From photowalk to calendar
Mobile group presents annual tilt winners
PHONEOGRAPHY Cebu recently held its 2nd Mobile Photography Awards Cebu Photowalk and Contest, which shows everyday life in Cebu City’s heritage trading district. The winning entries, as well selected photos, will be featured in the mobile photography pioneering group’s 2018 Calendar. The 12-page calendar will show premium-quality prints of the photographs, which were taken during the group’s regular photowalk sessions. Each page measures 12×18 inches.
Winning the 2nd MPAC top prize was Mark Kevin C. Badayos with his entry “Hakot,” a carefully angled shot of the Compania Maritima with a market worker and his pushcart in the foreground amid an almost cloudless blue sky. The other winners were Roy Genovia Jr. (1st and 4th honorable mention), Reyne N. Villena (2nd honorable mention), Russel Batoctoy (3rd honorable mention), and Arnold Sanico (5th honorable mention).
