The Cold Front

THE cool breeze signals the season’s change, which also means a little wardrobe tweak is in order. The Philippines may not experience extreme seasonal changes, but one still finds joy in dressing up for the cold weather. For some flair, SunStar Weekend introduces five types of people who are rocking the latest trends in Autumn/Winter fashion.

The Rocker Chick

If you’re going for the rocker chick this season then you’re probably one who worships all things rock and black. This style is quite hard to miss even when in a sea of people. The rocker chick is bound to stand out with its dark and grungy everyday uniform that effortlessly looks cool. The common ensemble of leather biker jacket, retro band tee and black skinny jeans may sound all too simple but not everyone could easily pull off this look. Although only a select few can sport this style, Topshop says otherwise. Their Autumn/Winter Collection suggests that every girl can rock this look in her own individual way.

The Sportsman

Whether you’re in or out the field, sportswear has entered the fashion wave trend. You don’t have to worry about looking too casual because nothing best represents comfort and style than this. Aside from its innovative feature, it also speaks volume when it comes to a distinctive look. This trend highlights retro sportswear such as zip-up tops, 90’s graphic tees and oversized football scarves. Topman for Autumn/Winter 2017 plays with shapes and silhouettes, creating a unique look with a playful touch of colors.

The Partygoer

It’s hard to always look your best especially if you’re known to be the life of every party. But looking good has never been easier with a few of the statement pieces from Dorothy Perkins. Just as you are the life of the party, your outfit needs a pop of color too. Red is key color for this season along with varying shades of burgundy, tomato and crimson. Now with a pop of color in check for merriment, let’s add a little more of the fun element with the perfect party wear. Dorothy Perkins is putting dresses on trend this season with its exaggerated sleeves and ruffle details completing every joyous celebration.

The Dapper Man

The ever so dashing and well-groomed man may have a lot of expectations to uphold, not just of the values he practices, but also of the clothes he chooses to wear. Crazy isn’t it how preference of clothing can speak a thousand words of the man that you are? Let Burton Menswear speak for you and let them make life simple with pieces that echoes a modern British sartorial flavor from heritage checks, double-breasted coats, sharp collared Harrington, plush bombers to flannel suits. This collection embraces innovation and elegance for the modern man who’s constantly on the move.

The Businessman

Corporate dressing can sometimes get so boring with not much color to choose from. All the more the style of clothing available is often limited. For the businessman or businesswoman who needs an upgraded look, G2000 has the right pieces for you. Corporate dressing with G2000 is never boring with its entire series made of lightweight, water repellent and storage-available design. The non-iron shirt is one to look out for with its superior function and leisure fashion feature. Another creative innovation by G2000 is the multi-way blouse.
