Joan Zanoria, the creator and owner, spent a month perfecting her own variation of the famous snack that originated in Singapore. While having a great run at local food bazaars with her differently topped mac ‘n cheese, she decided to make another kind of comfort food.

She saw that the salted egg potato chips were getting popular in the Philippines, with Cebuanos shipping from Manila distributors. “I thought, why not make our own chips and sell this at a lower and reasonable price but still with quality?” Joan said.

Joan’s salted egg potato chips are perfect for those who love the salty and sweet pairing. It’s highly addictive with every bite. It comes in different flavors: original, low salt, sweet chili and ketchup.

Joan makes and packages these delights at her own home. She hopes to have Macology101 by Little Chef’s Salted Egg Potato Chips available in different pasalubong centers in the country, including airline merchandise and hotel lobby shops.

The chips are available at 32 Umber Café, Pillows Hotel and First Time Chef Kitchen and Bar. It’s also available in different parts of the Philippines through authorized dealers in Manila, Iloilo, Davao, Cagayan and through online shopping (Deneb R. Batucan)
