SUZUKI Philippines has just unveiled the Philippine-spec 2016 Suzuki Ciaz.
Suzuki described the new sedan as having a stylish design, comfortable and spacious cabin, efficient powertrain and high safety standards. The design features a sporty and elegant finish that consists of defined character lines, prominent arches and splashes of chrome.
The Ciaz is the largest B-Segment sedan in the market today. The Ciaz comes in three variants: The GL manual, GL automatic and top-spec GLX, which is only available as an automatic.
The interior of the Ciaz introduces a new dimension in sportiness and elegance that reflects the exterior design. The high-quality instrument panel and upholstery, a wide range of advanced features and amenities enhance travelling comfort and convenience. The GL models come with navigation ready Windows-based touchscreen audio units, while the GLX is better equipped with an 8-inch Android touchscreen infotainment system that comes standard with wireless connectivity and preloaded apps like Waze, Facebook, Youtube, and Gmail.
Powered by the 1.4 liter KB14 engine which puts out 98 PS and 130 Nm of torque, it comes in 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual. The Ciaz is equipped with dual airbags along with anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution.
The Ciaz joins the Alto 800, Celerio, Swift, Swift Dzire, Jimny, Ertiga, APV,and Grand Vitara in Suzuki’s line-up of powerful but fuel-efficient vehicles.
