A leap to the ‘K Side’
K PUB BBQ, the famous Korean barbecue “meat-all-you-can” restaurant from Manila is now here in Cebu.
My first KPub experience was at their first restaurant located at The Fort in Bonifacio Global City. The façade was colorful, attractive, and imposing! I loved it from the moment I stepped in. The place was packed, festive with a live band, with walls covered in huge LCD screens playing colorful K Pop music videos.
The branch that had opened in Ayala Center Cebu has the exact same feel. We were welcomed my Jaja Rama and Claudine Chiongbian and introduced to the KPub BBQ owner and management team who were very accommodating and hospitable. Of course, our eyes couldn’t stop wandering as we were mesmerized by the colorful details of its interior.

We were seated and were introduced to four different packages that would suit every distinct appetite. The Eat and Run package for P499 with seven kinds of meat and delicious side dishes. The Eat and Run Level Up Package is P699 and includes some seafood for grilling and more sides. There are P899 and P999 packages that give you more grilling time, more choices of premium signature meats and seafood, pizza, and more premium sides.

Needless to say, we were overwhelmed by all the volume and variety of food served to us. The service was fast too and with a huge smile!
When we tried KPub BBQ in BGC, we picked the biggest package so we could try everything without a time limit. As soon as we were done, we were surprised to find out we had finished in 50 minutes while we were even taking our time!

I’m glad that KPub BBQ is now in Cebu. The next time I go, I will be trying the P499 Eat and Run package. The 7 kinds of premium signature meats plus sides all in one hour is more than enough to fill my relatively big appetite!
We walked out of K Pub BBQ in Ayala Center Cebu with happy tummies. It was weird though ‘coz I felt like we walked out of a time capsule, transported from Modern K Pop Korea back to my present day reality. Well, that’s what I call taking a big leap from Seoul to Cebu.
Wait, did I already mention they also have Melona. Yeah! Happy Leap Day, everyone!
