WHO says cheat days always have to involve meat?
At Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, weekends are made more interesting — food-wise — with the introduction of their Italian restaurant La Gondola’s new promo: Vegetarian Weekend.
Spearheaded by executive chef Simon Sperling, the menu presents an array of scrumptious vegetable-based snacks including lentil sliders, chickpea and mushroom wraps, grilled vegetables, quinoa rice paper rolls, bruschetta topped with flower petals, purple burritos, cauliflower fritters and many more — as the chef revealed that the food selection is set to be changed every week. The menu is available on Fridays and Saturdays and starts at P550 per order, which is a serving that’s a combination of the available offerings.
Dining guests also have other options at the hotel’s bread and pastry shop, Madeleine, with its selection of burgers like the black bean with guacamole and coriander, the bulgur and quinoa with tahini sauce, and the lentils burger with cucumber mint ratia.
