Fitness trackers that follow you
SO you’ve been religiously following a fitness regimen since the start of the year. Problem is, you’re not sure how you’re faring when it comes to input and output. The solution? Fitness trackers you can wear.
There are several fitness trackers to choose from, varying in what they measure and how easy they are to use. The basic ones are going to feel more like bracelets the width of a bandage, while the others resemble watches and have larger displays for advanced features, including heart-rate tracking.
These include the budget tracker Jawbone Up Move, the basic but functional Fitbit Charge, the phone companion Sony SmartBand, the more sophisticated Basis Peak, and personal coach Adidas Fit Smart. Except for the Sony Smartband, all fitness trackers have free apps for either iOS or Android. (AP)
