FERRARI Philippines, managed by the exclusive dealership Autostrada Motore Inc., held a three-day pop-up event in Cebu earlier this month, bringing in their 2015 models of the 458 Spider, FF, F12berlinetta, and the latest, the California T.
Autostrada Motore president Wellington Soong says the sleek and stunning California T had just arrived in the Philippines and was first launched at the said event held at Shangri-la’s Ocean Pavilion in Mactan, Cebu.
Compared to its predecessor, the California T boasts of upgraded interior finishes and reengineered engine with turbo processes—with the “T” in the moniker basically standing for turbo. The new model is said to have raised the standard of the Gran Tourer vehicle segment.
It holds a V8 fuel-direct injection engine with a maximum power of 412 kilowatts at 7,500 rpm, and a maximum speed of 315 kilometers per hour (kph). It claims to run from 0 to 100 kph in 3.6 seconds, and from 0 to 200 kph in 11.2 seconds. Fuel consumption is declared at 10.5 liters per 100 kilometers.
More than the model’s specs, Soong adds that all Ferrari owners enjoy the incomparable service offered by the dealership that includes a seven-year maintenance checks and quarterly service caravans for Cebu and Davao. “We really value the Cebuanos as a market that can appreciate the brand as a part of their lifestyle,” he notes.
The Ferrari dealership in the Philippines is under Autostrada Motore Inc., which also handles luxury brands Maserati, Jaguar and Land Rover. Showroom and service center is located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
