Dress up your iOS connection

DIY gurus say that the science behind keeping earbuds and cords from bunching up is by making them thicker. You’d think this is a difficult process, but if you can tie a knot, you won’t have difficulty working on what the folks over at Pinterest have come up to solve your tangled problems!

What you’ll need:

1 baker’s twine or embroidery floss
2 a pair of scissors
3 any cord or charger

First, you’ll want to make a double knot to secure your twine in place.

The next few steps are easy enough to do once you get the hang of it. You’ll want to create another knot by positioning the twine across the cord, looping it under and pulling it right back up. The tricky part is keeping it neat, so take some time to tighten the knots. Repeat this until you completely cover the entire cord.

In less than an hour, you’ll have a finished product that looks like! If that seems too long, listen to music, watch some TV or invite a friend over to let the time pass quickly.

This technique also makes for a more colorful and organized you! Try mixing and matching different colors of twine to create a more interesting output.
