SM City launches crafts exhibit
SM City Cebu launched the third installment of its nationwide campaign “My City My SM” with an exhibit of the excellent craftsmanship the locality has to offer.
Titled “My City My SM My Crafts,” the exhibit ran until April 6 in the SM Northwing Atrium and showcased the best works of Cebuano jewelry, accessories and furniture designers. It follows the success of the debut program “My City My SM” in 2010 and the gastronomic fiesta “My City My SM My Cuisine” in 2012.
Launched on March 26, the exhibit kicked-off with a fashion show highlighting the best works by designers Diane Uy Espera of Sepa, Iris Arcenas of Ferimar, Gil Carungay of Avatar, Janice Minor, Paula and Vicki Rodriguez of CoCreative Studio, Arden Siarot of Arden Classic and Ramir Bonghanoy of BonAce Fashion Tools.
The event culminated with SM giving recognition to Maison Et Objet’s first Asian Designer of the Year awardee, Cebu’s very own Kenneth Cobonpue. (FSE)
