TODAY the festival fever is in the air as Cebuanos and guests celebrate the Sinulog. While everyone’s excited for the street parties, music festivals, painting the town with all kinds of colors, and everything else that makes Sinulog fun and memorable, you might want to look the part.
Your best bet? Islands Souvenirs’ Cut and Style 2016, the brand’s biggest Sinulog campaign featuring all-new special edition Sinulog t-shirt designs that can be personalized and customized. Islands Souvenirs’ Cut and Style 2016’s revolves around the playful, vibrant and colorful aesthetic of Pop Art, paying homage to an iconic art movement that brings creativity and culture straight to the people. Cut and Style 2016 gives festival-goers an unforgettable Sinulog experience.
The campaign, which started last Jan. 8, was highlighted by a grand fashion show at The Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu last Jan. 15, featuring social advocates, kids, Ms. Cebu Winners, and social media influencers.
Last year’s show highlighted renowned fashion designer Cary Santiago’s original Cut and Style creations. This year, the spotlight is on international artist and designer Kate Torralba who showcased her original pieces for the runway.
Cut and Style will be available in Islands Souvenirs stores in SM City Cebu, Ayala Center Cebu, Robinsons Fuente, SM Seaside City, Sinulog Square (Magallanes across Magellan’s Cross) and Raintree Mall (Gen. Maxilom Ave.). Special Styling Centers will be set up at SM City Cebu Atrium, SM City Cebu Northwing, SM Seaside City and Ayala Center Cebu Activity Center.
Each Styling Center will feature a Cut & Style area, Henna Tattoo section plus a Beauty Bar where customers can pamper and treat themselves to a Sinulog Makeover including a Hair Color service, Face Paint design and Flash Tattoo application by our styling team.
Styling centers in Ayala, SM Northwing, and SM Seaside are available until Jan. 18. While Cut & Style in all Islands boutiques is available until Jan. 31. (With PR)
