San Fernando now coronavirus cleared

IT IS a merrier Christmas for the City of San Fernando, Pampanga as all its active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were finally cleared as of Wednesday, December 22, the City Information Office (CIO) reported.

In its Wednesday update, CIO said its last Covid-19 patient from Barangay Del Rosario has already recovered from the disease as declared by the City Health Office.

“Fernandinos, masayang ipinapaalam ng lokal na pamahalaan na gumaling na ang isang natitirang aktibong kaso ng Covid-19 dito sa siyudad. Sa kasalukuyan, wala ng aktibong kaso at Covid-free na ang Siyudad San Fernando,” the post read.

Despite the current status, the City Government reminded the public to continue following health protocols to prevent another infection again.

It also recognized the efforts and sacrifices of the medical workers who are at the frontline of the battle against Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.

“Salamat sa serbisyo ng ating medical workers at sa kooperasyon ninyo, Fernandinos. Basta’t sama-sama, lahat malalagpasan!” it added.
