British fashion brand unveils baby and kids’ collection

F&F launched its baby and children’s wear in a styling session for moms and kids last Oct. 15 at their store on the 2nd level of the Ayala Center Cebu expansion. The international UK fashion brand for the family also unveiled its Autumn Winter 2016 Collection to these avid Cebuano travelers.

Businesswoman and philanthropist Carla Yeung-McKowen, whose husband hails from the UK, arrived with her three adorable tots Harrison, Cameron and Catherine Mary in tow. She chose pieces that blend classic British class with contemporary style to bring a sense of regal heritage for her princess and two princes.

New mom Marian Quitevis Climaco selected a statement knit sweater paired with army green joggers for her playful six-month-old son Bastien. These pieces bear the trademark element of countryside adventure that runs throughout the collection.

Furniture manufacturer Selina Selma Romualdez arrived with her pretty daughter Saige at around the same time lifestyle blogger Toni Pino Oca and her equally stylish mini-me Vania Noelle did. They poured through the racks of the F&F Girls line which featured laid back denim and autumnal corduroys decorated with embroidered woodland characters — from the sequined owls to the cartoon bunny rabbits appearing on tops and tees. Saige layered a faux-fur vest over a pink jersey top and pleated, floral skirt while Vania donned a chic sequined tee over navy shorts.

Adriana, along with businesswoman mom Kim Araneta, enjoyed choosing clothes and gladly posed in a casual purple dress with faux fur-collared outerwear, a design element that brings a sense of luxury to the collection.

Layering with an injection of British heritage is the foundation for boyswear this season. Utility cargos and textured knits are paired with plaid shirts and quilted gilets, with the latter seen on Rafa, son of technopreneur Laurice Chiongbian. Her two-year old daughter Noa Elise opted for a more relaxed tropical look befitting the year-round warm weather in Cebu.

Yoga studio owner Jenifer Martinez’s son Tino tried F&F’s laid back denim and layered a jacket over a DC-Universe tee. To complete the look, he slipped on a pair of laceless canvas shoes to bring a true sense of relaxed country living. (PR)
