All-new and improved Chevrolets launched at 2015 Manila International Auto Show
CHEVROLET Philippines-The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI) launched the Chevrolet Trax alongside new and improved variants of Chevrolet’s flagship model the Chevrolet Trailblazer at the recent 2015 Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Car enthusiasts who trooped to the MIAS that ran from April 9 to 12 caught a glimpse of the Chevrolet Trax, the first small sports utility vehicle from the General Motors Global Vehicle Program developed to combine style and a design language that is unmistakably Chevrolet.
TCCCI, in a press statement said, the Trax is expected to appeal to the burgeoning small SUV market, as it features a distinctly defined exterior and spacious interior that can seat a group of five.
“The Chevrolet Trax is set to offer power, practicality and stable, sedan-like ride comfort that will set new standards for quality, performance and safety for small SUVs,” the company said in a press statement.

As for the company’s flagship model, the new Trailblazer variants featured improvements aimed at broadening Chevrolet’s market reach.
“The Chevrolet Trailblazer‘s exceptional market performance in the highly competitive midsize SUV segment propelled it to become the local distributor’s best-selling model, and paved the way for the company’s impressive 59 percent vehicle sales growth in 2014,” TCCCI pointed out.

Known for known for its best-in-class power and torque, rugged exterior design, 800mm water-wading and towing capabilities, the class-leading SUV offers outstanding features that include a powerful turbo-diesel engine, spacious 7-seater interior, outstanding ride and handling and fuel-efficiency.
The five new Trailblazer variants that are specially made to cater todifferent lifestyles include the 4×2 LTX MT, 4×2 LT AT, 4×2 LTX AT, 4×4 LTZ AT and 4×4 LTZ Special Edition (SE) AT. The additions bring the SUV line to a total of seven variants. (PR/With NSV)
