Salon de Rose: Fabulous at 40
SALON De Rose, one of the largest salon chains in the country, celebrated its 40th anniversary with glam and festivity to the delight of salon management, staff, patrons, media professionals, and a multitude of spectators at the SM Northwing.
Among the highlights of the Nov. 28 event was when Danny Katalbas, ambassador of L’Oreal Professionel and creative director of world-the famous Salon Privat, displayed his styling expertise. The show also featured 10 models who sported avant-garde hair creations, as well as five prominent women in Cebu: TV personality Haide Acuña, beauty queen Merce Abellana, sculptor Halei Marmol, triathlete Merly Colmenares and advertising guru Pearl Jacalan.
At the event, Salon De Rose’s CEO Brian Lim recounted the history of the company, from its first branch in Magellan International Hotel in 1974 to now having over 30 branches nationwide—complemented with a heartwarming video presentation.
