GLOBALART, an international chain of children’s art enrichment program, opened in Cebu and was formally launched last Jan. 11 at the Banilad Town Centre. It was a jam-packed celebration with kids, parents and well-wishers in attendance.
The ceremonial ribbon cutting was led by the master franchiser in the Philippines, Yenny Saw, and the local franchisee, Carissa Ko. Rev. Fr. Jojo Anore held a blessing of the school, followed by a vicinity tour, free trial sessions, drawing competitions, and raffle draws for the kids.
“Globalart’s programs help children develop a sense of creative thinking and discipline while enjoying the coloring and drawing activities,” said Ko of the school, which aims to help children improve their creativity and art skills through a variety of exciting activities and lessons.
Global Art aims to transform the way children learn art through its award-winning and internationally recognized program. The creative programs are implemented around the world using the same teaching concepts, plus workbooks and materials, which will be provided by the school. Lessons include creative drawing, painting, sketching, cartoon and comic making, crafts and clay.
Interested students ages four to 13 can avail themselves of a free trial and assessment. For more information about Globalart Cebu, like facebook.com/globalartcebu or visit www.globalart.com.ph. Globalart Cebu is located on the 2nd level of the Banilad Town Centre. (PR)
