UP Sagabay celebrates 20th anniversary
THE UP Sagabay (UP Students’ Active Group Aiming for the Betterment in the Academe of the Youth) celebrated its 20th anniversary last June 23.
Pioneering alumni who founded the organization on June 23, 1996, other alumni and residents were gathered to warm up the celebration with a mini-sportsfest during the day at the UP High School. The momentous event was capped by a dinner party at the Harolds’ Hotel.
UP Sagabay is a recognized student organization in the University of the Philippines Cebu College and a socio-civic group that believes in the strength of leadership, camaraderie and excellence. Since its inception in 1996, the organization has been active in the university and the community through organizing various activities guided by the group’s principles. (PR)
