They mean business

WITH just so many people travelling nowadays, it really makes a huge difference traveling Business Class. A couple of decades back I could still remember being able to stretch my legs in long haul flights to and from the states that are not fully booked at all. But now, with airlines alliances, many flights are done in conjunction with multiple airlines for cost efficiency, making most flights fully booked with passengers.

Cathay’s brand of understated luxury: spacious and comfortable…
It’s east meets west at the breakfast spread — some asian noodles, scrambled eggs, bacon, and chicken sausage (and some hot, steaming soy milk beside it).

That makes the experience of flying “Business” more distinctly felt not just by the luxury of space it affords its passengers in the aircraft but by the extraordinary experience it offers from ground (at pre-boarding) up to the air, while on the flight.

And no one understands it more than Cathay Pacific, and it is no wonder why they are always chosen as one of the best airlines not only by the experts in the field but also by their loyal passengers. They always step it up a notch and are always leaps ahead when it comes to customer experience.

Every now and then I am very lucky to be extended a complimentary upgrade to Business Class when I fly with Cathay Pacific and am truly grateful for every opportunity I get to experience the unique brand of understated luxury the airline has already become known for.

Imagine having a nice mix of movies, TV shows, and digital games right at your fingertips, available at your convenience. It’s surely more than enough entertainment to keep the insomniac pre occupied. If it’s shopping you want, well, you’ll be surprised with the lavish assortment they have on board.

Dumplings! Yum!

And talk about having a culinary feast 30,000 feet up in the sky and an impeccable selection of wines for the savvy… Right?

Don’t worry about your meals as you can have them anytime at your convenience and the cabin crew will make sure you are taken cared of without smothering you with their tender, loving care and attention.

Imagine getting some shut eye right after take-off and waking up 11 hours later in preparation for landing at your destination. What a dream!

It just feels so good to have your own personal space in long haul flights and the entire experience definitely makes it worth its price tag.
