(DIY)ouTubers To Follow

DIY is a great way to express your creativity and put your personal touch on something, whether it’s a cellphone case or your own bedroom. YouTube is teeming with great DIY ideas so if you’re looking for channels to get inspiration from for your next DIY project, check this list out:

Studio DIY!

Add some color (a LOT of it) into your life with DIY projects by Kelly Mindell of Studio DIY. There aren’t a lot of videos on her YouTube yet as her channel is fairly new but you can check out her website studiodiy.com for more DIY projects. She has a very quirky aesthetic so if that’s your thing, you’ll find a lot of ideas from her website.

Amber Scholl

She started her channel with little money to her name but now with almost two million subs on YouTube, I think it’s safe to say that’s not the case anymore. But her humble beginnings inspired the theme of her content up until today — DIY ideas on a budget. Her videos include recreating outfits of celebrities for cheap, DIY home makeovers and budget shopping.

5-Minute Crafts

Hacks about absolutely everything and anything under the sun — party, school, home, fashion, tech, you name it. The videos in this channel are more of listicle-type content, which means each video features a bunch of hacks according to a theme like “33 DIYs That’ll Make You Look Super Crafty” or “30 Delicious 5-minute Recipes.”

PatrickStarrr

Looking for stunning make-up looks to cop? PatrickStarrr’s your guy. This proudly Filipino YouTuber is known for his mind-blowing make-up transformations and fun collaborations with hotshot celebrities like Kim Kardashian-West, Ashley Tisdale and Madelaine Petsch a.k.a. Cheryl Blossom of Riverdale. He’s also got a great sense of humor so aside from make-up tips, you’ll also get a good laugh from his videos.

SaraBeautyCorner

Just by the thumbnails of her videos, you can already tell that she’s obsessed with art and color. What makes Sara’s videos different is that she incorporates her DIY ideas and hacks through a comedic sketch in each video, plus fun special effects. Her videos cover topics such as food, make-up, school, to name a few.

Blossom

Like 5-Minute Crafts, Blossom also produces listicle-type videos but Blossom is more concentrated on lifestyle content like beauty and fashion. A skirt too tiny worn as an off-shoulder blouse or an oversized men’s shirt turned into a tube dress, the videos on clothing hacks will blow you away.

Gillian Bower

This YouTuber’s content appeals to a younger audience as she is a teenager herself; but if you love all things bright, funky and eclectic, whether that’s home decor, beauty or even school supplies, you’ll get a lot of inspiration from her videos.
