Who says techies aren’t into festivals?
THE group behind the international tech startup conference, GeeksOnABeach.com, has launched a one-of-a-kind festival in Cebu to celebrate tech, ideas and global innovation.
Talks, workshops and community building will be held at TechTalks.ph’s Summer Digital Festival 2017” in Cebu, which is home to a vibrant tech scene amid a backdrop of beautiful beaches and landscapes.
The festival, which recognizes the importance of the digital literacy and online expertise in today’s economy, offers participants a venue to update their skills to match the ever-changing office and business environments.
The festival kick-started last May 5 with TechTalks.ph’s Founders Friday, a monthly gathering of entrepreneurs and aspiring founders or tech startup enthusiasts, followed by a series of Digital Marketing Workshops, including how to use a Smartphone to promote one’s business.
A Mobile Development Workshop, which kicked off yesterday at UVNS and will run until May 27, features Keith Lumanog, Iskwelahan.com founder.
Participants of the 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. workshop include mobile app creators, e-commerce business enthusiasts, and those interested in the iOS App.
On May 11, Robert Cristobal, Chief Content Officer of TechTalks.ph, will hold a workshop on Digital Literacy for Executives at Marco Polo Plaza, Cebu City from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Among the participants will be CEOs, company decision makers, and executives who want to learn Digital Marketing.
Then on May 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mr. Cristobal will conduct a workshop called “Content Marketing from Your Smartphone to Your Audience” with marketing professionals, social media professionals, and digital marketing executives and managers.
Through the workshop festival, participants get to join pioneers and practitioners in shaping a shared digital future.
