Mactan beachfront resort and residential project launched

The development project was launched last Oct. 7 with Johnny Litton as host. Gracing the event and ceremonial ribbon cutting were Sec. Leoncio Evasco Jr. of the Dept of Interior and Local Government; AppleOne Mactan Inc. President Ray Manigsaca, CEO Venus Manigsaca, and EVP Joy Veloso; Branded Residential Development Head Alexandra Yao of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc.; Regional Vice President for development Serena Lim; and Cyndy Tan Jarabata of Tajara Leisure. Fire dancers gave a spectacular performance in front of guests.
The Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort is set to completion by 2019. Located at the beachfront, the resort will offer 250 guest rooms and suites as well as ballroom and function spaces ideal for weddings, meetings and other events. Included in its list of amenities is the Shine Spa for Sheraton, three dining venues, a lobby lounge and recreational facilities such as the state-of-the-art Sheraton Fitness facility and a terraced swimming pool.
The Residences at The Sheraton Cebu Mactan, set to open by 2020, has a 22-storey main tower with 154 well-appointed units consisting of one- to three-bedroom residences and 36 courtyard residences. The courtyard residences each have their own private pool, the cherry on top of an already luxurious home. Facilities and amenities for residents include a private lounge and library, lobby area, function room and large lagoon pools at the courtyard as well as an amenities floor which features an ultramodern gym, yoga and steam rooms, and a Beach Club.
