Longchamp launches first boutique in Cebu
THE first Longchamp boutique outside Luzon was launched recently at Rustan’s Cebu along with an exclusive preview of its Autumn 2016 Collection in an evening dedicated to the sophisticated brand.
Personally welcoming guests to the newly opened boutique were Rustan Commercial Corp. President Donnie V. Tantoco, Longchamp Area Retail Manager for Asia Pacific Romain Chappotteau, and Rustan Commercial Corp. Division Manager for shoes, bags, and accessories Paolo Lobregat.
“Longchamp and Rustan’s share the same commitment — to deliver the highest quality goods to our customers. We are truly glad to have Longchamp open its first boutique at Rustan’s Cebu,” Donnie V. Tantoco said at the launch.
The launch last Sept. 13 was attended by around 150 of Cebu’s well-heeled set who were entertained by the house music mixes of DJs Jen Weigel and Divine Maitland-Smith. Guests graciously posed in an interactive photo shoot with their Longchamp bag of choice while free-flowing Champagne and canapés were passed around. Ms. Caroline Quisumbing emerged the lucky winner of a Longchamp bag in the grand raffle that concluded the evening’s festivities.
Every season, Longchamp launches collections that convey a spirit of creativity and innovation for modern women. For its Autumn 2016 Collection, Longchamp takes inspiration from nature and the wild to create handbags and accessories suited for city living.
With a tradition of excellence that originated in Paris over 65 years ago by Jean Cassegrain, Longchamp now has a presence in over 80 countries worldwide. Transformed into modern new designs by the house’s craftsmen, Longchamp bags are unique, with a single handbag requiring more than 100 parts and as many as 250 steps to assemble.
The Longchamp boutique is located at Level 1 of Rustan’s, Ayala Center Cebu. (PR)
