How to capture invisible threats in your home
“Design is only truly beautiful when it works properly. People don’t want something that just looks good, it’s got to do a good job and it has to be simple to use.” — James Dyson
DYSON, a British technology company combining inventive engineering with brave design to make machines that work better, launched the Dyson Pure Cool Link in Cebu last September 8.
In attendance to personally introduce Dyson’s latest breakthrough to the appreciative Cebu market were Dyson Philippines Managing Director Warren Sy and Dyson Expert Bobby Yan.
“From the Pollution Index 2016 in Asia, Manila is the second most polluted city, while Cebu is the 40th with a pollution index of 72.40. However, our indoor environment is two to five times more toxic than our outdoor environment, and in some cases, the air measurements indoors have been found to be 100 times more polluted,” Dyson Expert Bobby Yan said during his demonstration on how the Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier fan works.
Yan also introduced Dyson’s newest and most powerful cordless suction, the revolutionary V8. Transforming the way people clean, the V8 vacuum easily converts between stick and handheld mode.
It was an evening of fun and excitement with guests experiencing firsthand the cord-free vacuum through an interactive game and a much awaited raffle draw with Ms. Xacah Chang and Ms. Bee Urgello respectively winning a Dyson V6 Mattress vacuum.
As pioneers of invention, innovation and improvement, Dyson engineers have combined their expertise in fluid dynamics and filtration systems with software to develop the new Dyson Pure Cool Link. This is a purifier that gives an indication of the air quality at home automatically purifying the pollutants it detects, whilst reporting the live indoor and outdoor air quality to the Dyson Link App — making the invisible visible, at the tap of a finger.
