Chaine des Rotisseurs holds 22nd induction dinner
INTERNATIONAL gastronomic society, Chaine des Rottisseurs, held its 22nd induction dinner last March 27 — a celebration graciously hosted by the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. With the theme Four Seasons: A Gala of Four Epicurean Transitions, the hotel’s Pacific Grand Ballroom was beautifully laden with flower arrangements inspired by the colors of autumn, winter, spring and summer. One of the highlights was the towering tree display the center that changed its color along with the courses, imitating the four seasons.
The induction dinner was attended by members, including the society’s bailli de Cebu Amparito Lhuillier and the Philippines’ bailli delegue Michel Lhuillier. Chefs, hospitality professionals, wine and food connoisseurs representing diverse backgrounds all took part in the celebration in utmost style.
Founded in Paris, the Chaine des Rotisseurs is the oldest international gastronomic society that devotes itself to the promotion of fine dining and excellence in hospitality arts. In Cebu, it has held several gala celebrations over the years, five of which have been hosted by the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. (FSE)
